Looking for a native-English speaking editor

An Iraqi news service I work for is looking for another native-English speaking editor with editing experience. Editors work 6-7 hour shifts, 6 days per week and edit the news stories as they come in. Work is done from home and you just need an ADSL connection and a commitment to be online during your shift.

The ideal person would have some knowledge of the situation in Iraq and some journalism experience. The workload varies from one day to the next, depending on the news.

I guess I do not match the qualifications required on that job -as I happen to be Egyptian with excellent English-language skills- but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

However, I graduated in the English School in Cairo. I have been working a year now as an English editor/reporter for a local media firm. I also worked part/time as a proofreader for a local newspaper published in English (The Egyptian Gazette).

If you think I can do the job, kindly contact me at
