The Adizes Institute, est. 1975, was founded by Dr. Ichak Adizes, author of a practical methodology for managing change and complexity, leading organizations to exceptional sustainable performance without destructive conflict . The Institute has offices in ten countries and a licensed Graduate School for the study of leadership and change, granting degrees in academic and clinical tracks.

The Institute is seeking a full-time Educator-Consultant for a very specialized position that requires teaching live, foundational courses in Adizes methods on-site in Santa Barbara, California, and in live presentations, training, and team follow-up projects at client facilities in the U.S. and abroad. Training will be provided to the selected candidate; paid if the individual stays with the Institute for 3 years or reimbursement is required on a pro-rated basis.

Charisma and peer leadership skills are paramount for managing the dynamics of an experienced group of senior managers and executives.

Thus, the candidate should have a track record demonstrating active leadership experience AND live presentations in community or global forums, and a passion for presenting/training in live, adult scenarios. The ideal credentials will include a terminal degree in either: philosophy, history, sociology, poli-sci, quantum physics, global studies, theoretical psychology, or a related field in social studies or the humanities (religion, Asian/Middle Eastern studies) excluding business areas. Desirable, but not paramount, is capability to design training courses. Online teaching experience a plus. Must be willing to relocate to Tri-Counties area (some expenses paid). Salary $60-100K inclusive.
