Support Specialist - Bahrain
The Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) is the national oil company of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
I. END USER SUPPORT SPECIALIST:

Job Description:
- To manage the refining IT requirements, implement and evaluate existing systems, provide alternative solutions
- To upgrade and change computer software and hardware, and recommend and advise
specific IT products
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. preferably in chemical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years in IT, of which at least 5 years directly in hardware and software
- Good knowledge in: PCs, WINDOWS XP, Windows 2000 Server, UNIX LANs and Internet / Intranet technology
- Thorough understanding of oil refining operations and information requirements
- Excellent communication skills, problem analysis and project planning skills
